Root Asus Zenfone 5


          Why do i need to root your phone? Because some applications required root access or need a superuser or admin to edit system files.
        Is it dangerous to root my phone? Yes because you may brick your phone or make your phone bootloop. You need to ask or read before you do something.

HOW TO ROOT ZENFONE 5 via ADB 

all You need is

1. Zenfone 5
2. Computer or Laptop
3. Connector for z5
4. RootZenfone5Kitkat.zip

Here's the procedure

First you have to install Intel Android drvsetup1.1.5 to your Laptop/Computer.

1. Enable Usb Debugging in your phone.

   *how to enable usb debugging:
Go to your phone - Settings > about > Software information > Tap 7x "Build Number" ..the developer option will show in settings..open it then check usb debugging..done..

2. Connect to Computer . It will automatically install Asus Android Composite ADB Interface if its not install it manually.. Go to Device Manager and update driver of other devices[yourphone] [MTP] . Download this ASUS_Android_USB_drivers_for_Windows_20140325.zip

If you already have Asus Android Composite ADB Interface in your Computer [devicemanager] you can now go to the next step..

3.Download RootZenfone5.zip and extract in your desktop..

4. Go to Rootzenfone5 folder and open Root-ZenFone5-en.bat" click run
 It will open cmd and will root your phone
Just press any key when it says press any key.. :))

(Windows 8: Right Click Root-ZenFone5-en.bat > Click Compatibility > Mark "Run this program in compatibility mode for" select Windows 7)

 5. A "Allow access"will appear in your phone just tap "Allow" and it will restart your phone and will open bootloader..It will take at least 2 Reboot and
Just wait until its done.. The third last reboot, it will show "Android is upgrading" and its done :) you are now rooted.

You can now use
Greenify > to hibernate some apps > some system apps when you use greenify donate version > so the apps running in your phone will less and save your battery.

Exposed > its a framework > some apps need this framework. Like experimental settings in some apps.

Set CPU > overclock your phone 800mhz - 1600mhz > to avoid over heating..

Freedom > game hack..

and other apps that required rooted phone.
